Hello again, Firstly an apology to those of you from outside of the UK who have tried unsuccessfully to access the BBC website featuring the Countryfile programme. The BBC won't let you - very mean!

This is an extra special time of year full of cakes and candles as we celebrate Jane's birthday of course on 16th December. She would have been 233! We also celebrate the 25th and everyone here at the Jane Austen Centre wishes you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
