A magical evening of readings, music and seasonal refreshments with stars of stage and screen, Adrian Lukis and Caroline Langrishe.
Happy Birthday Jane Austen
Tickets £25 from Bath Box Office CLICK HERE
Join Adrian and Caroline for an evening of Austen delights in the original Theatre Royal in Bath. Now the Masonic Hall this wonderful old building was formerly the theatre Jane Austen knew well, wrote about in Northanger Abbey and attended in 1799.
As the bicentenary year of Pride & Prejudice nears its end and the anniversary of Austen’s birth is just days away, what could be a more fitting celebration than dramatic readings of the author’s works by these two multi-talented actors. Hear Darcy read by Wickham! ”…the piece sent shivers through me, my goodness Adrian and Caroline are good.”
With seasonal music supplied by the fabulous voice of Rosie Lomas, mince pies and mulled wine this one off event is not to be missed. A truly enchanting evening in an historic and magical setting with the added opportunity to meet the stars, Adrian and Caroline.
