Festival Day Trip

Montacute House was used extensively in the Emma Thompson film of Sense & Sensibility starring Kate Winslet.
The house is a magnificent mansion and included is a guided tour. After lunch, which can be purchased in the excellent restaurant, we continue to Lyme Regis with the famous Cobb that played such an important part in Persuasion.
Tickets: £35 (includes coach and guided tour)
Entrance to house and grounds: (Free to National Trust Members) £9 on the day
Depart – Avon Street Coach Park, Bath (return approx 7pm)

Your ‘Barouche’ awaits – day trip to Hampshire 

Thursday 22nd September – 9am  -  (Return approx. 6pm)

Small guided group tour to see the villages and churches of Steventon and Chawton as well as Winchester Cathedral.
There will be time for optional visits to Jane Austen’s House Museum at Chawton (£7) and Winchester Cathedral (£6) her final resting place.
