The heroine of Northanger Abbey likes "cricket and base-ball". The nearest form of baseball to the one mentioned is the International Rules variety, now played only in South Wales and on Merseyside. Has anyone thought of arranging a display anywhere else at a suitable event?

I haven't heard anything myself though the Jane Austen Centre does not do many outdoor events other than the festival as they haven't the alocated space to play. I suppose as a fundraiser it would be an interesting idea.
