Which Lizzy Bennet is the best ?

In my opinion, the comparison is between Elizabeth Garvie & Jennifer Ehle. I loved Jennifer's portrayal (as I still do) till I saw the 1980 version. I was in two minds. Liz Garvie's was a very feminine, very petite rendition...not the tomboyish yet ladylike character which was Jennifer's.

I wonder which one Jane would have liked ?

BTW , both are , in my eyes, exceptionally beautiful actresses but I kind of flipped for Ms Garvie!

Myself I like the amusing comedic tones of Jennifer I will have to peruse and remind myself of Ms Garvie. So different to have someone who has perused other versions as I have.
