Bath’s original Theatre Royal welcomes – ‘The League of Harmony’ – 7.30pm
Sunday 18th September (doors open at 7pm duration approx 90 mins with interval)
Suitable for the ears of Jane Austen ‘Music from the Bach-Abel Concerts’, with Peter Foster – one-keyed flute, Rosemary Edwards – Baroque cello and Mike Parker – single action harp perform compositions by James Hook, CF Abel and JC Bach. In the beautiful surroundings of the original Theatre Royal where the great tragic actress Sarah Siddons performed and Jane Austen was entertained. For a feel of the period, Regency costume or evening wear is desirable but not essential.

Complicated steps made to look easy by this superb company of dancers in their gorgeous 18th Century costumes. They are accompanied by the 18th Century girl band(!) Lady Georgianna. Sit back and enjoy the spectacle, soak up the music and learn all about the dances, with court duets and solo demonstrations. Interval refreshments included.
