To mark the bi-centenary of the publication of Jane Austen’s most famous work, Pride and Prejudice, you can now explore the life and times of the author, have ‘Tea with Mr Darcy’ and bathe in Bath’s natural thermal waters – just as they did in the 18th century.
The special package costs £58 per person and includes:
• Entry to the Jane Austen Centre
• ‘Tea with Mr Darcy’ at the Regency Tea Rooms
• 2-hour spa session including use of towel, robe & slippers at
Thermae Bath Spa
Jane Austen Centre
Celebrating Bath’s most famous resident, the Jane Austen Centre brings the author’s story to life. See exhibits that explore Jane’s life, family, residences and Bath society. Admire and try on reproductions of Regency daywear and learn about the entertainments of the era; dancing, socialising, card games and drinking tea.
The Regency Tea Rooms
Housed within the Jane Austen Centre, the Regency Tea Rooms have been awarded the Tea Guild’s highest accolade, the ‘Award of Excellence’. Enjoy ‘Tea with Mr Darcy’, including tea, finger sandwiches, a warm scone served with Dorset clotted cream, locally sourced jam and a selection of cakes.
Thermae Bath Spa
