This Jane Austen oak pattern pen has a smooth twist action, to prevent accidental leaks. It’s made of metal, so it’s not going to break, and feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand. And it will last indefinitely, because the ink cartridge can be replaced at any good stationery shop.
A thing of beauty, and very useful too!
The pen is approximately 14 cm in length, 1cm across, and weighs 25g.
It comes in either cream or blue colours, and each is beautifully packaged in a velvet-lined, printed gift box.
About the design:
This Austen blue oak pattern features oak flowers and leaves with blue background. It was inspired by the pattern of a Pelisse Coat thought to have belonged to Jane Austen (a Pelisse coat was a garment worn over a dress or gown which was fashionable during Austen’s lifetime). The oak leaf motif used here was also a popular national symbol in Britain at a time.
